Mandy Turton

Dietician

Mandy graduated from Sydney University in 1984 and has worked in Sydney as a clinical accredited Dietitian. She has been with Circle of Care for the past 13 years and has been instrumental in helping develop the nutrition program. Mandy helps patients through their phases following bariatric surgery and develops individual supplement plans to ensure our patients are correctly supplemented following their surgery.

Sarah Reynolds

Psychologist

Sarah is a compassionate and strengths focused Clinical Psychologist and board-approved supervisor. She has extensive experience working in public mental health across both community and inpatient settings, including as the District Eating Disorders Coordinator and Suicide Prevention Manager for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, and the Towards Zero Suicides Program Manager for Sydney Local Health District.

Sarah utilises a collaborative, client-centred and evidence-based approach and draws upon a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

She has a particular interest in supporting people through challenging life adjustments, such as relationship breakdowns, grief and loss, parenthood and career changes.

Gretel Young

Physiotherapist

Gretel trained at Cumberland College of Health Sciences in Sydney, Australia. She obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy and worked in a number of metropolitan and country hospitals, as well as the U.K., treating a wide variety of patients and teaching physiotherapy students. She has worked in private practice since 1990.

Gretel has a special interest in manual therapy – the role of muscles in movement and the importance of posture and core stability muscle to develop and maintain spinal health. She is also interested in the role of exercise in long term weight control, and coordinates the exercise component of the Circle of Care Program. She joined the team in 2003.

Gretel believes that exercise is important for everyone, and enjoys educating and motivating people to participate in an active exercise program suited to their lifestyle. She aims to explain the different types of exercise and their purpose, and to encourage patients to make exercise a regular and positive part of their life. As well as educating patients following bariatric surgery.
