Program Cost
The program cost includes surgeon fee, assistant surgeon fee & all the services described in the “Thrive Program” section. It also covers ongoing support and monitoring – even after your first year.
Some patients may be able to use their Superannuation to cover part or all of the costs if they have the funds available. More information about the early release of super funds is available via the ATO Website.
Please note, we can’t guide you on this decision or give you financial advice on the best option for you – but we believe having information on all possible options is best.

*** Hospital costs are approximate only. There may be additional charges for Intensive Care or additional stay time if required. Hospital costs can vary dependant upon which hospital location is utilised. Please call your nominated hospital for a more accurate estimate.
Please note $250 non-refundable deposit is to be paid at the time of booking your surgery date. This is in addition to the program cost.
Thrive Surgical Program Payment is required 14 days prior to surgery date.
TO NOTE: Most patients that select the gastric bypass as their procedure will need to undergo an Endoscopy prior to their surgery. This will be at an `additional cost. The item number for the Endoscopy is 30473.
